Iron gray modular CANPOS (Compact Alpha-Numeric Point-of-sale) keyboards are a new version of IBM’s popular compact alpha-numeric POS keyboard, valued by customers for its space-saving modular design. It takes up less work space on a counter, and fits in a small checkout area–an important feature for the specialty retail, hospitality and service industries.
Keyboards are new OEM, never been used, but may come in a different box.
The MSR, Authentication option and pointer are pluggable options so you can now create customer optimized solutions (these are not included and sold separately
). This also allows for simple field upgrades, reconfiguration and repairs. Options that are not needed can have filler panels (also sold separately
) put in their place. Keyboards support all interfaces so you can choose the cable that works for your configuration. The interface (USB, powered USB, or PS2) is determined by the cable your order (sold separately). If at a later time you would like to switch to a different interface, you just need to by a new cable.
NOTE: No modules are blanks are included. Keyboard ships exactly how you see it.
